Cat & Pet Clubs, Shows and Organizations

Kansas City area has numerous animal organizations that sponsor local shows, events throughout the year. MO Kan Cat Club and Frontier Feline Fanciers sponsor local CFA Cat Shows. The public has the opportunity to see up to 40 different breeds of cats. Bird shows hosted by bird rescue Break N Wings. Also, Kansas City Reptile Show, Several Pet Expos held throughout the year, including “Exotic Bird & Pet Expo Kansas City” in April. International Cat Associations

These Cat Club associations missions are preserving and promoting pedigreed breeds of cats while also enhancing the well-being of all cats. CFA, the largest pedigree registry, first licensed cat shows were held in Buffalo, New York and Detroit, Michigan in 1906.
